a. You agree to indemnify Ice4Life for all and any Liabilities suffered or incurred by Ice4Life associated with your participation in the services & facilities and all and any non-compliance with these Terms.
a. You agree that Ice4Life to the maximum extent permitted by law, shall not be liable for any consequential, indirect, punitive, or special damages and losses.
- Nothing in these Terms will:
i) limit or exclude any Liabilities for fraudulent misrepresentation or fraud by Ice4Life.
ii) limit or exclude any Liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law.
a) AGE RESTRICTIONS
i) The Activities are available only to those aged 16 years and over.
b) EXISTING/CURRENT MEDICAL CONDITIONS OR CIRCUMSTANCES — You agree not to participate in any of the services and facilities provided by Ice4Life without obtaining prior medical advice, in particular, if you suffer from or suspect you may suffer from any of the following conditions or circumstances:
- Heart Condition – Any current or recent heart condition – Heart attack, Angina, Arrythmia, Heart failure, Obesity or Diabetes.
- Stroke – Any current or recent occurrences of Stroke or Mini Stroke activity and/or a suspicion thereof.
- You are taking prescription medications, including but not limited to blood thinners, diuretics, barbiturates or beta-blockers.
- Raynaud’s Syndrome – A vasoconstriction of blood vessels caused by cold exposure and/or stress. Normally felt but not limited to the hands, feet and extremities as cold, numb and painful which varies pending disorder severity.
- Histamine Allergies – Similar to cold Urticaria and commonly presented as Hives and itching and skin reddening after cold exposure.
- You are sixty-five (65) years of age or over.
- You suffer from chronic conditions/diseases associated with reduced/compromised ability to sweat or perspire, such as Multiple Sclerosis, Central Nervous System Tumours or Diabetes with Neuropathy.
- You are a Haemophiliac, are taking blood thinners and/or have bleeding issues.
- You have a fever or suffer heat insensitivity.
- You are pregnant or menstruating.
- You suffer from joint injuries or swelling.
- You have an implant, such as metal pins, rods, artificial joints or any other surgical implants; or
- You are fitted with a pacemaker.
- You have a cognitive impairment condition or associated brain injury that compromises your safe participation in the services and facilities provided by Ice4Life – not limited to; Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Epilepsy, TBI Traumatic Brain Injury, Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease.
Additional care and caution should be exercised with respect to participants presenting with, or indicating a history of the following:
Heart problems more than 5 years ago – Any high blood pressure history – Kidney failure – Angina Pectoris – Raynaud’s Syndrome type 2 – Migraines/Headaches – Surgical procedures – Cold Urticaria
c) ICE BATH & INFRA RED SAUNA INSTRUCTIONS
- You understand that you will receive a sauna and ice bath tour with verbal instructions and orientation during your initial visit which shall include details about the proper use of the equipment.
- You understand the ice bath orientation and instructions and these terms serve as a general source of information and education concerning the services & facilities, and do not constitute specific advice to you or your circumstances, medical or otherwise.
- You must not rely on this information as an alternative to medical advice from your doctor or other professional healthcare providers. If you have any specific questions about any medical matters, you should consult your doctor or other professional healthcare providers prior to using Ice4Life and their services/facilities.
- You must not use any of the services or facilities of Ice4Life as medical treatment replacements.
You agree to maintain good standards of appropriate behaviour at all times with any damage to Ice4Life facilities or equipment being your sole responsibility.
Participants of Ice4Life’s facilities are expected to be of sound mind, meaning being mentally competent and capable of rational thought and decision making, free from mental illness and impairment, alcohol, drugs or dementia, thus ensuring the safe use and understanding of the services and facilities provided by Ice4Life.
No food is to be consumed on the Ice4Life premises unless for medical reasons.
Water is the advised method of hydration and is encouraged whilst using the Ice4Life services & facilities.
Please remove all fake tan and make-up prior to using Ice4Life saunas and ice baths. Charges may apply.
Suitable clothing is requested & required whilst using the Ice4Life services and facilities for hygiene reasons. Thank you
